Please join us for the fall edition of Concerts at Calvary featuring The Finest City Brass. Bring your family, friends and neighbors to experience an evening filled with beautiful and exciting brass music in our beautiful Sanctuary. This year’s program includes works by J.S. Bach, Giovanni Gabrieli, John Mackey and Anthony Plog.

The Finest City Brass is a large symphonic brass choir comprised of roughly two dozen musicians specializing in music for brass and percussion. Directed by Avi Mehta, the ensemble usually performs three concerts per year featuring both contemporary brass repertoire and large symphonic transcriptions. FCB strives to foster community and build connections in the community through musical excellence, concerts around San Diego, and mentorship opportunities for young brass and percussion students.
