Concerts at Calvary’s first event of the year will feature The Finest City Wind Orchestra performing its Allegro Con Brio program featuring “Symphony No. 3 for Band” written by American neoromantic composer Vittorio Giannini. Let your ears feast on the Symphony’s warm expressive harmonies, in addition to “Galop” from the well-known mid-19th century Genevieve de Brabant opera, bright fanfares, Latin merengue and more

The Finest City Wind Orchestra is directed by Dr. Jeff Malecki who is currently serving as the Music Department Chair at the University of San Diego. The group is made up of approximately 45 musicians from the San Diego County and Southern California area, many of whom play and teach music as a profession.

Admission tickets can be purchased at the door ($20 for adults, $15 for seniors) or in advance using the following ticket link.  Children and students enter free of charge.
